Right to Work President Mark Mix issued a statement commemorating Labor Day and warning of looming Big Labor power grabs. You can listen to the statement using the embedded player below, download an .mp3 recording here, or read the statement here.
I'm still waiting to hear back from Mr. Mix. I would be willing to debate him, in a public forum, any time, any place! Please crawl out of your hole and look me up! Mark McKee #2676882910
Why wait for Mark? Lets go! Why the Fk should I be REQUIRED to join your union to work at GM?! I negotiate my own deals - not gonna pass it off to some gang-leading lackey who swears he has my interests at heart. You union cheerleaders sound just like the guys who sign paychecks, promise the world then don't deliver. Except where my boss at least gives me a paycheck, you TAKE my money and then compromise anyway. How the Fk is THAT progress? It isn't...step off.
My boss gives me a paycheck too. The difference is he actually agrees to pay a fair wage. My cheerleaders have actually established our wages about triple what the non-union roofers make, go cheerleaders.
You don't have to join the union to work at GM. There's plenty of other jobs at GM. Janitorial services are always needed, you sound perfect for trash removal. Hell maybe one of those CEO's will understand your position and give you an office job sorting mail, I doubt it though.
Fortunately, there are two ways of looking at your comment and it allows me to understand how beneficial it is in profiling you. I find this precusor important to your comment. First of all establishing who you are gives me an understanding of why you are in favor of such unethical practices. No need in saying more. Just remember, going through life promoting unjust, unfair, and unreasonable practices becomes a nightmare when you reach old age. Good Luck!!
I find this situation at least once a day. Heck I didn't even bring up the issue of these companies hiring illegal aliens, to work on government jobs that your tax dollars pay for.
That's unethical, unfair, and UNAMERICAN.
Here's unethical for you, my job is to go around and talk to non-union roofers, about their situation. I found two roofers 35 feet above ground working near the edge of a roof, with no signs of safety measures. I stopped to see why they had no safety equipment. One of the guys who was in his late 40's told me he never had only been roofing for a month, he claimed to be a welder by trade. The other was in his twenties also only having a couple of months working on roofs. They told me that their foreman had to leave to go to another job.
So now you have two guys working on the edge of a roof swinging axes with little to no experience. Their bosses left them there to figure it out. Real safe and they were installing it improper.
I informed them of certain safety issues, that they were not informed of from their employer. They make a dollar over minimum wage and pay for their own insurance.
This company is putting these two gentlemans lives at risk by not giving them the proper safety equipment or training to do the task asked of them. Tearing off roofs is not easy and to pay someone a dollar over minumum wage to do so should be a crime.
The company that was buying the roofing has no idea that there were two men left on their roof with no training. Now they will have to pay another company to come and fix it right.
The cheapest roof is the most expensive roof. You get what you pay for.
Also KIM my dad just retired this year at the age of 55 from the union. Guess what he is drawing 56,000 dollars a year, and the union pays for all retires insurance, so he is still covered. I can't wait to sit back on my porch and not have to worry about working at the age of 56.
So KIM whose unfair? Me or the company making millions off of young men, not trained or given proper safety eguipment. I can see your the type of person who allows this to happen. Maybe when someone you know is effected like this you will open your eyes.
"big labor" undermines workers rights by using worker's dues to fund agendas that the worker is completely opposed to. Example: The I.A.M. recently fuded with union dues a "Human Rights Conference" in Orlando. The keynote speaker was al sharpton. sharpton is a racist (anti-zionist) and an affront to many people I work with, including myself. Another speaker was a lesbian promoting tolerance of the immoral homosexual lifestyle in opposition to the pro-family position I hold. Using union dues for these purposes is using my money against me. There is also the issue of unions supporting political candidates. That should never happen, no matter what party. Contributing to the campaign of a candidate I would never vote for, even if they were the only candidate on the ballot, is again using my money against me.
You sound like a typical racist yourself.
"lesbian promoting tolerance of the immoral homosexual lifestyle in opposition to the pro-family position I hold".
What does lesbians have to do with workers issues. Take your church views and go tell it on the mountain, cause we ain't listening. USA was founded on freedom to do as you please as long as your not hurting others. So explain how carpet munchers are hurting you.
Unions give money to politicains- Were forced to do so because big corporations flood congress with millions to do their bidding through lobbist. So were just taking a page out of their book, plus they fight the good fight against RTW. Which I am glad to say my union dues defeated the RTW this year in Missouri. Hell were already funding next years fight against RTW.

Debate
Go get em Mark. I just found this website. Must be funded by a bunch of Koch-sucker non-union beggars.
I would like someone to explain how "big labor" undermines workers rights. LMAO
