In her latest syndicated column, Michelle Malkin highlights the National Right to Work Foundation's request that Attorney General Eric Holder investigate National Labor Relations Board Member Craig Becker for violating his ethics pledge by participating in cases involving his former employer, the Service Employees International Union (SEIU).
As Malkin notes, Becker's weak standard for recusal rests on a faulty distinction between the national union and its local affiliates.
It's no surprise that Becker now refuses to hold himself accountable for the ethics pledge he himself signed in April. As the past two years have taught us, Team Obama's operational slogan is: Rules are for fools. The contractual ethics commitment states: "I will not for a period of two years from the date of my appointment participate in any particular matter involving specific parties that is directly and substantially related to my former employer or former clients, including regulations and contracts." Yet, Becker has participated in numerous NLRB cases involving the SEIU and its affiliates -- and is parsing the definition of "former employer" by arguing that local SEIU chapters are "separate and distinct legal entities" that don't fall under the ethics rules.
The National Right to Work Foundation, which has fought both national and local SEIU officials in court on behalf of rank-and-file workers' rights, eviscerates Becker's lawyerly blather. SEIU's own constitution considers local affiliates "constituent subordinate bodies" of the national union, the foundation notes. "Moreover, in 2009 over 85 percent of the SEIU's receipts came from a per capita tax on the locals' membership dues and fees. The national union even has the power to assume control over its locals if they do not conform to International policies."
Malkin also rightly ties Becker's installment onto the federal labor board into the Obama Administration's pattern of granting special privileges and hidden paybacks to the union bosses.

Obama's August surprise: turning AZ and 22 other states over to the UN
After turning NYC over to the Islamists and leftist sympathizers, via endorsing their 9/11 Victory Mosque (any Muslim project called "The Cordoba Initiative" has to be just that), Dictator-in-Chief Obama believes that he has found the way to both destroy opposition to his Orwellian plans for the former United States of America and introduce OUR country's final demise. For attempting to do that which the Obama refuses to do (his job under the US Constitution — not George Soros and friends), the tyrant has now turned Arizona and the twenty-two other US States trying to protect their citizens over the patently corrupt (Obama's kind of organization) United Nations as "human rights violators." Now disregarding the US Constitution and US law entirely — and getting away with it — The Obama and his worldwide anti-US Marxist minions have begun to divvy up the booty from that which was once America. Note: Despite our protests and marches, Obama believes he silenced We-the-People long ago. Didn't Hugo Chavez affect something similar in Venezuela? But, let's face the truth, folks. Even Chavez didn't try to destroy his OWN country. But, considering his true birth place, neither did Obama.
In his boldest move yet to destroy OUR country, Dictator-in-Chief Obama has now decided to bring the full force of the world against those who oppose their own slavery at his and his masters' hands. And the overseers at the United Nations are applauding The Obama's move. As the people of the United States of America are — in greater and greater numbers each and every day — supporting Arizona and other states for working to protect US citizens from the now unstopped marching phalanges of illegal immigrants composed of drug cartel members, Central American gangs, Hezbollah, other middle eastern terrorists and millions of others who sap the resources of sovereign States (entering via our southern border), the tyrant believes he has found a way to stop the States and us.
Now "elevating" himself to the level of an Islamic Mufti, Obama has effectively issued a fatwa against Arizona and every other US State that opposes their own demise. Obama has issued an, heretofore, unprecedented report to the "UN High Commissioner for Human Rights" (a bad joke considering the organization itself) outlining his carefully crafted and manufactured 'horrors' the USA has committed against humans (I suspect that means freedom and liberty are two of them), he has given full sway to the UN to go after any US States that do not comply with the tyrant's (and soon to be King of the World?) commandments. Suffice it to say, the UN is more than pleased to do so!
Replete with its proclamations for perversities of all kinds, in order to support any and all fully suppressive and exploitative totalitarian regimes (as long as it gets a substantial piece of the action), the UN is more than willing to go follow The Obama's "requests."
This latest perversion of law by The Obama is, yet, another patent treasonous action against the USA. Each and every day, he is racking up more and more of them. Then, without a care in the world save how to better give his union thugs and other countries funds stolen from the US taxpayer (where lots of our "stimulus" dollars ended up) and then frivolously wasting and spending what's left, he and his family are now working to establish the record of "most vacations taken while occupying the US White House — and still being able to destroy the country." I suspect that record will never be broken — but, if he isn't removed, the country will.
In November 2010, if we do not take back at least the House of Representatives we will have no chance — whatsoever — of surviving the beast and its minions. But, even worse, if we don't get rid of said beast our destruction is also assured. If we can rid ourselves of both — and restore our Republic — we must for all time say "Never Again" to tyranny and all would-be tyrants. We cannot and must not allow this to happen to our country, our loved ones and us even one more time...never. This time, we must remember.

Who says we have to wait until 10 and 12? Isn't it becoming clear to most of us that the only way to remedy the lack of constraint and the lack of Constitutional loyalty and the questionable ethics along with the special interests and law breaking is to impeach the son of a b****? The JD won't do diddly-squat about the law breaking so that leaves it up to us. Let's get a really strong movement to impeach the bast***. Is there anything concrete we Americans can do to stop the radical agenda of Big-Labor Unions? It was bad enough when the Communists were heavy into the CIO. But, we have a real crisis with SEIU.
The Obama administration doesn't even try to hide its incestuous relationship with the unions. I can only hope that after November, enough newly elected Congress persons will work together to castrate these unions. Otherwise, we will be Greece for sure.

I grew up in Ypsi, close to Detroit. I worked for an automobile company. Most moved out, Detroit sure is different today. The moves, in my opinion, were a direct result of union activities and demands. Haven't figured out how the leaders of the unions aided the members. I guess I was lucky, I didn't join, I quit and changed my occupation. Sure glad I did, put do get a bit sad when I visit my home town, It survived, but because of the college not the industry or the unions.

It is time the entire country realized why we have debt. Government spending is paid for by private sector businesses and about 60% of the private sector workers.
Government workers do not pay into the tax fund that pays their salary but instead the payroll deductions just reduce the amount of tax revenue they receive for their pay. Even the so-called social security they pay is just tax revenue moved from one tax pot to another. No actual contribution is made by government workers.Government retirement is unfunded payments.
It takes a minimum of 6 private sector workers taxes to pay one government employees salaries.
Nearly half of the workers are government employees and according to government reports only 60% of the private sector workers pay taxes so that means that 30% of the working population and private sector business are supporting the other 70%.
Assuming that the census reports are correct, in order for the government to be sustainable, it would be necessary to reduce government size by 80%. Simple math shows that it is absolutely impossible to pay down the national, state, and local debt even if government takes every dollar earned by the 60% of half of the private sector workers and businesses that actually pay all the taxes.
